Well, it’s that day of the year again that we get to express our love to the people closest to us through not so surprising things like chocolate, flowers, and stuffed animal gifts.
It’s also that day that many men are scrambling with a prayer on their lips to find last minute roses that hopefully aren’t sold out (cue not-so-subtle reminder here).
A day of expectations…
In some form or another, Valentines Day has definitely become a day of expectations in the minds of millions of Americans. Whether we verbalize it or simply conform to it, we know that Valentine’s Day is the one day you don’t want to get wrong for the ones you love.
Forget it, and you’ll regret it. But do it right… Jackpot!
But is it possible that among the millions of people that will buy chocolate hearts and roses today, many of them will forget about the heart of the matter by forgetting about one heart that really matters behind it all – their own?
Sadly, yes.
Purchased gifts are nice and even sometimes necessary, but heart gifts are even better and more meaningful. Why? Because…

- A ‘love language’ gift. This may or may not cost you any money, but it will express true heart. Nothing says love to someone quite like speaking their love language.
