Godly parents are growing parents. And Godly dads are growing dads. They are always striving to become better as the leader of their home by exposing themselves to relationships and resources that sharpen them for one of their greatest callings in life—parenting.

Of all the resources I recommend for dads, here are three that top the list that you can’t afford to miss.

#1

WEEKLY PARENTING AUDIO: The DadTired Podcast

This is currently my favorite parenting podcast and the one I recommend more than any other. I try to listen to every episode, because every time I listen I am helped, blessed, and left wanting more. If you want to be encouraged, strengthened and equipped as a dad (or any parent), this podcast is for you. Jerrad Lopes does an amazing job of always presenting relevant topics and great guests.

DadTired also provides a slew of other great resources including conferences, a free leadership program, books, and more. I absolutely love the help and the heart behind this ministry.

WEEKLY PRACTICAL ARTICLES: AllProDad.com

There are few organizations that put out top-notch written content as consistently as AllProDad (a ministry of Family First). They are a Christian organization that helps dads love and lead their family well. In addition to their community programs in sports and schools, their bread and butter is in their weekly parenting articles. These are written by dozens of contributing thought leaders in both the sports and parenting worlds, including myself.

You can see over a hundred articles I’ve personally written for AllProDad here. They also have a great sister site for moms at iMom.com. Check it out. You won’t regret it.

GODLY PARENTING ADVICE: GodlyParent.com

So this one was a given, right? (I wouldn’t be investing my time here if I didn’t think it would add value to your family.) In my opinion, two top resources for parents are GodlyParent.com and the new book Godly Parenting In An Ungodly World. What? You haven’t read the book yet?! Well, I’d strongly encourage you do. And not just because I wrote it, but because it will set you up for parenting success (no matter what season of parenting you’re in) and shave off years of mistakes in your own parenting by learning from some of ours (You can get your copy of the book for less than $5 here).

If you’re a parent who wants to tap into current and practical parenting advice, subscribe to GodlyParent.com. I do the legwork, and share weekly with you how I’m growing as a parent, and parenting wisdom I’m gleaning from others as well.

Now it’s your turn… What’s another parenting resource that you’d highly recommend? I’d love to hear about it!
