Are you a parent with kids still in the home?
Are you a ministry leader or volunteer who is passionate about reaching the next generation?
Are you simply interested in knowing more about what this blog is all about?

If you fit into any of the above categories, this blog is designed for you. Working with kids and their families is one of the greatest privileges anyone can be given. It is literally the opportunity to shape and mold the future of the world around us. My desire is to encourage and motivate you with practical ideas and content that will energize your family life and ministry.

The Lord has allowed my wife and I the privilege of having 13 years of experience on an amazing church staff. We have served in many capacities, but primarily with children ages 6th grade and below. This experience has brought with it a better understanding of how to minister to children, both in our own home and in the church.

Parenting is hard. If you’ve ever felt like the weight of responsibility on your shoulders is greater than you can carry, you’re not alone.

Kids Ministry is essential. Those who work with kids are not doing something of less value than those who work with teenagers or adults. In fact, they are working with the world’s greatest mission field – children.

Ministry life is challenging. Like my mom always used to tell me, “If you’re in ministry, you have a job more important than the president’s.” Sometimes, you may even feel like you have as much on your plate as the president as well.

I hope that wherever you fall in the above list, you will be able to benefit from the insight and inspiration you will receive by following this blog.
